Overview

Information Systems Association is a professional club, within the Orfalea College of Business, designed to bring students from all avenues of life to learn about information systems and technology. As one of the fastest growing job fields in the market today, we strive to bring members the ultimate experience through our academic and career guidance, recruiting, and networking efforts.

ProblemUntapped Membership

The Information Systems concentration has more students than ever before. Growing from 20-40 students per class in 2011 to around 200 in 2018, it stands to be one of more popular concentrations in the Orfalea College of Business. However, membership of the club plateaued due to the lack of outreach and visual identidy. Our previous logo was tied to the past that's why this refresh crucial to the future growth of the club.

SolutionBuilding from Scratch

Our goal this year was to develop a close-knit community that wanted a purely professional experience. We brought in over 10 companies (Hathway, Deloitte, EY, PWC, KPMG, and many more) that presented about their mission and offered networking opportunties. The rebranding helped shaped the new Instagram which has more than 200 followers (50% increase from last year). A new website has also been created to centralize all the various meeting information times and events.
